22 JULY 2017: Denmead Cycle Ride Update

Banner09The appalling weather forced the fun inside as the beer garden was abandoned to the torrential rain.

We understand that the charity is likely to benefit by £1000s as a result of year long fund raising activity by the Cycle Ride team organisers which culminated in the Charity Cycle Ride day.

Sun next year anyone?

The Boost Button were in action again on Friday 15th August, at a mini music festival held for the first time ever, at the home of Rob and Sue in Petersfield.

The aim was to have as much musical fun as possible, while raising money for a fantastic local charity which supports young families in need of friendship and help.

Stunning sets from Damiain Loderick and Mark Nelson & Phil added a truly eclectic feel to the evening, with their seamless performances and very different musical styles.

With the garden looking amazing, with gazebos, flowers, tealights and bunting, and with dry, perfectly still weather, the scene was set for a beautiful evening under the stars. Thanks so much to Rob and Sue for organising and hosting the evening, and to Damiain and Mark for giving up their time to perform, and to all the other many individuals who worked so willingly to help raise funds for this very worthwhile cause.

A great night and over £1200 raised!
